The pumpkin and through in the pumpkin and through in bunch of basket of basket cut out pumpkin and fresh veggies and through in bunch of fruit.

Does she have children of her own? Is so what about a mommy scrapbook/ book. If no, another scrapbook of you and your friend showing your appreciation. Im sure she will be greatful either way.

You have to give gifts now? A well written thank you would do I think. Personally I think the whole written thank you thing is out of control, I would much rather receive a verbal thank you anyway. The “proper” thing to do is write a thank you.
