Hello. My birthday was last weekend and I got a three- jet propane grill for my main present. I’ve already used it to cook some burgers and dogs for my party guests, but I also got two racks of baby back pork ribs to cook.
Does anyone have any grilling recipes for this particular cut of meat that would taste especially good when prepared on a gas grill? Don’t spare the details on things like marinades, spices, etc. I look forward to your suggestions.

Bodacious Grilled Ribs
Bodacious Grilled RibsYield: Makes 4 servingsIngredients: 4pounds pork loin back ribs
2tablespoons paprika
2teaspoons dried basil
1/2teaspoon onion powder
1/4teaspoon garlic powder
1/4teaspoon ground red pepper
1/4teaspoon black pepper
2sheets (24X18 inches) heavy-duty foil, lightly sprayed with nonstick cooking spray
8ice cubes
1cup barbecue sauce
1/2cup apricot all-fruit spread
Preparation: 1.Prepare grill for direct cooking. Cut ribs into 4- to 6-rib pieces.
2.Combine paprika, basil, onion powder, garlic powder, red pepper and black pepper in small bowl. Rub on both sides of rib pieces. Place 2 pounds of ribs, in single layer, in center of each foil sheet. Place 4 ice cubes on top of each.
3.Double fold sides and ends of foil to seal packets, leaving head space for heat circulation. Place on baking sheet. Stir together barbecue sauce and jam; set aside.
4.Slide packets off baking sheet onto grill grid. Grill, covered, over medium coals 45 to 60 minutes or until tender. Carefully open one end of each packet to allow steam to escape.
5.Open packets and transfer ribs to grill rack. Brush with barbecue sauce mixture. Continue grilling 5 to 10 minutes, brushing with sauce and turning often.
