What kind of things are they into? I would focus on that, and run with it. I have a couple of nephews, one liked hunting stuff and one liked video games, so their parents got them that kind of stuff when they had their third child. If you have girls, Barbies, jewelry, purses, and such are great gifts.

If money is not a huge issue, get them a really great Fort/Play yard that has swings, a slide, and monkey bars. Or get them a trampoline.
